I got both of my tattoos on June 17th in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. I had originally planned on going to New Orleans to get mine done, but a friend of mine has a brother that is a tattoo artist so- he gave me a deal. Anyway- I have been wanting the sp heart for about 7 years now, but i wanted to be a little different and get it blue instead of red. I just waited so long to make sure that SP was not some teenage phase I was going through. The keys were kinda a last minute decision- I was either going to get the keys or the moon and stars from the MCIS booklet. I'm glad I went with the keys. Well, the SP heart is inbetween my shoulder blades. And the keys are on my lower back. I hardly felt the keys. They really didn't hurt at all. BUT- the heart- hurt like hell. It hurt during the outline- the color- and for days afterwards. I have a very high tolerance for pain. Last year, I was in a very bad car wreck and I was in a coma for 9 days well- now my left side is WAY less sensitive. It tingles and feels like it is sorta asleep- so i thought no big deal i won't even hardly feel it on my left side WRONG the pain sucked!!! I left with a splitting headache and my back hurt so bad/it stung Maybe it was just me since they say everyone is different- BUT it was well worth it. I love my tattoos. I think he did a really good job too.
